Shane Eddy is Pratt & Whitney's senior vice president, Operations. He leads all business activities related to manufacturing, production, assembly and the supply chain, including delivery of final product to original equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket customer base. Specifically, Eddy has overall responsibility for meeting Pratt & Whitney's quality commitments, on-time delivery and the company's War on Cost efforts.
He joined Pratt & Whitney from GE Aviation where he was vice president and general manager, turboshaft and turboprop engines. Prior to his tenure there, Eddy was with UTC as president, commercial systems and services, at Sikorsky Aircraft -- formerly a United Technologies Corp. business. Prior to that, he served as Sikorsky's senior vice president of Operations. He began his career with Sikorsky in 2010, after working for Bell Helicopter Textron.
Eddy earned his undergraduate degree from Canadore College, in Ontario, Canada and an MBA from Concordia University in Quebec, Canada.
