After receiving a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Laval University in 1990, Mr. Eric Côté worked in the aeronautics industry (Bombardier Aerospace) for more than 15 years in various senior managerial positions (Corporate strategies, Manufacturing Engineering, Strategic Supply, Quality and Industrialization). In 2005, he was subsequently General Manager of Soucy Baron inc. (gas masks, military tracks components and various elastomer components manufacturing company) after which he was appointed, in 2012, President of Soucy Group, a privately owned Québec company that employs more than 1800 people in Canada (Québec), the United States, South America, Europe and Asia. The Soucy Group of companies specializes primarily in the design of components, accessories and track systems for the agricultural, industrial, defence and recreational vehicle market. Early 2021, Eric is back in the aerospace industry as he is named President of Jaunt Air Mobility, an EVTOL (electric vertical take off and landing aircraft) manufacturer based in Texas. A respected leader in the Quebec and Canadian manufacturing communities for almost 30 years, Eric sits on the boards of different diversified companies (TMT, aerospace, energy…) and several associations. Mr. Côté is married to Mrs. Julie Demers Pelletier and has two children: Frédéric and Nicolas.
