Founded in 1972, Socomore develops, manufactures and markets specialty chemicals for the preparation, protection, treatment and control of metal and composite surfaces. These solutions are intended for the construction and maintenance of air, automotive and rail transport, as well as industries related to metal or energy. About 200 men and women work in its different locations around the world: four plants, 12 sales subsidiaries and offices, and four R&D laboratories. Based in Montréal and Texas for several years, Socomore provides its North American customers solvents, degreasers, paint strippers, solutions for engines lines shims, and more. These products have obtained approvals from leading manufacturers in the aviation market for preparation and surface treatments for their critical operations.
