The Industrial Security Program is pleased to offer the following Company Security Officer (CSO) and Alternate Company Security Officer (ACSO) Training Sessions* to be held in:

Montréal (French) – June 4, 2015
Vancouver (English) – June 16, 2015
Victoria (English) – June 18, 2015
Halifax (English) – September 11, 2015

This one-day course has been restructured to meet your training needs. It is now comprised of a mandatory morning session targeted for all organizations registered in the Industrial Security Program, followed by an optional afternoon session designed for organizations dealing with subcontracting, Classified-level personnel screening, document safeguarding and international contracting.

In addition to this revised framework, new hands-on exercises have been incorporated to make your training experience more beneficial. Throughout the modules, we will continue to focus on the roles and responsibilities of government and industry in contracts containing security requirements. Please see the attached session overview for more information.

This training is not mandatory and is opened to appointed CSOs and ACSOs only. Registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Please reply to this email to register for one of the above-mentioned training sessions.

*Additional French and English sessions will offered in Ottawa and Toronto in the fall 2015. Once the dates and venues for our fall training schedule are confirmed, you will be notified and given the opportunity to register.

The CSO Training Session is being offered to you at no cost. Participants are responsible for their own transportation, accommodation and meal costs. Registrants will receive more information on the training location and the agenda of the session as the date approaches.
