30 September 2015 - JPMorgan Chase & co grants 50,000 US$ to Aéro Montréal to support the development of aerospace SMEs in Québec

JPMorgan Chase & co remet un don de 50 000 US$ à Aéro Montréal, afin de soutenir le développement des PME de l’aérospatiale au Québec

Montréal, September 30, 2015 — Aéro Montréal, Québec's aerospace cluster, is very honoured, on behalf of all aerospace companies in Québec, to have today received a grant of 50,000 US$ from JPMorgan Chase & Co aimed at contributing to the development of the SME Action Series and MACH Evolution Series programs.

This exceptional contribution will have a major impact for Québec aerospace SMEs. With this grant, Aéro Montréal will be able to develop activities, trade missions and world-class strategic forums enabling companies to enhance their networks of contacts and improve their business models to ensure their competitiveness.

Benoît, President of Aéro Montréal.  "On behalf of the entire industry, I want to sincerely thank JPMorgan Chase for awarding this grant which will enable us to continue supporting our companies along the road to success and, by extension, helping Québec remain a major international player in aerospace. With nearly 200 aerospace SMEs in Québec, our mission to ensure that they remain competitive is paramount. The growth rate of Québec's aerospace industry in significant and is higher than the global industry. By giving us its support, JPMorgan Chase is contributing directly to the growth of Québec. "

The funds will support the SME Action Series. This features numerous events aimed at developing the capabilities of suppliers, promoting new business practices and encouraging networking.

The funds will also support the MACH Evolution Series which features seminars on subjects selected according to gaps identified in the diagnoses of companies that are part of the MACH Initiative. These activities, therefore, respond to the real improvement needs of SMEs.
