AÉRO MONTRÉAL WELCOMES THE RECORD ORDER BY DELTA FOR UP TO 125 CS100 AIRCRAFT

A positive impact for Québec’s aerospace supply chain

Montréal, April 28, 2016 — Aéro Montréal, Québec’s aerospace cluster, welcomes the announcement of an order for up to 125 Bombardier CS100 aircraft by Delta Air Lines, including a firm order for 75 CS100 aircraft and options for an additional 50. This is the largest order for CS100 aircraft that Bombardier has received to date.

“We are extremely happy and relieved to see the immense confidence that a prestigious company such as Delta Air Lines is showing in Bombardier by placing this historic order with the aircraft manufacturer today,” said Suzanne M. Benoît, President of Aéro Montréal. “This order coincides with International Aerospace Week - MONTRÉAL and is infusing a real sense of optimism among all the players in our industry.”
