Aéro Montréal publishes first-ever directory of Québec’s aerospace cluster

March 8, 2010 – Aéro Montréal today launched the first edition of the Québec aerospace cluster directory. “Representing more than 300 entries, this new reference tool will further strengthen cohesion within our sector and enhance the reputation and visibility of Québec’s aerospace cluster at the national and international levels,” said Marc Parent, Chairman of the Board, Aéro Montréal, and President and Chief Executive Officer, CAE Inc.

An exceptional guide to Quebec’s best suppliers, the 2010 Directory will, among other things, promote Quebec’s aerospace industrial capability and increase awareness about the cluster’s stakeholders, including associations, institutions, educational establishments and research centres. “This promotional tool lists the major players in Québec’s supply chain, the backbone of our industry, which strives to be dynamic, high performing and always ready to meet the needs of prime contractors around the world,” said Suzanne M. Benoît, CEO of Aéro Montréal.

The 2010 Directory presents the corporate profile of each organization, including a description of their activities and complete contact information. To facilitate access to readers around the world, it is also available online at www.aeromontreal.ca. The electronic version features a complete list of companies as well as a search tool that enables to find a supplier by name, keywords, categories or specialties. This enhances the establishment of future business opportunities.

The production of the 2010 Directory was made possible with the support of Sous-Traitance Industrielle Québec (STIQ). Its extensive knowledge of Québec’s aerospace industry was an asset in collecting and classifying the data.

This directory, considered invaluable by many stakeholders, supports efforts to promote Québec companies among potential clients during various national and international missions and trade shows.
