Pierre is a mechanical engineer and holds a Masters in Engineering. He has accumulated over 30 years of experience in industry and had the opportunity to work in high-tech sectors including composites and electro-optics industries. He has extensive experience in manufacturing process related with composite materials fabrication used for defence products including personal protective equipment and composite launch tubes and for aircraft repairs. In the last seven years, he was the president of an electro-optic firm specialized in smart cameras and thermal imagers. As a business leader, he touched many areas of an organization including, manufacturing, technical, finance, human resources and business development. He helped improve productivity using lean manufacturing tools and carried out programs of research and development. He initiated new business opportunities and established international relationships for the marketing of products related to the areas of defence and security as well as aeronautic.
