April 25 and 26, 2016

Palais des congrès de Montréal

DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT

The fourth edition of the Aerospace Innovation Forum held in December 2013 at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal was a great success, with more than 1,200 participants from 15 countries and 200 world-class speakers, a considerable increase compared to previous editions. Based on this success, Aéro Montréal will host the fifth edition of this international event on April 25 and 26, 2016.

Since Montréal's aerospace innovation chain represents a model of performance globally, Aéro Montréal has decided to dedicate the 2016 edition of the Forum to all stakeholders involved in the industry's innovation ecosystem in our city. Accordingly, collaboration as a means to strengthen the international excellence of Montréal's aerospace innovation chain will be at the heart of the issues addressed during the next edition in 2016.

Furthermore, the 2016 edition of the Aerospace Innovation Forum will be an opportunity to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Aéro Montréal's creation. To underscore the collaborative nature of Montréal's aerospace innovation chain, the Aerospace Innovation Forum 2016 will this year be the first of a series of events that will take place during 2nd Montréal Aerospace Week, initiated by Aéro Montréal for the first time in spring 2015. It will be followed, among others, by the Forum of Researchers from the Consortium for Research and Innovation in Aerospace in Quebec (CRIAQ) and an event on talent development in innovation which will close the week. The holding of these events as part of the 2nd Montréal Aerospace Week will ensure increased attendance, attract all the key decision-makers from the local and international aerospace sectors and a delegation of foreign journalists, as well as contribute as never before to the international reputation of Montréal.
