Cdr Simon Nadeau enrolled in the Canadian Armed Forces in 1999 as a Naval Warfare Officer. Throughout his career, he sailed onboard various Major Warships and deployed for Op Apollo and Op Altair. He is a graduate of the Joint Command Staff programme and the Royal Military College with a Bachelor of Military Art & Science. Major accomplishments were highlighted by his appointment has Second in Command of HMCS Montréal, and 4 years at the Directors of Naval Requirements (DNR) as the Section Head for Maritime Domain Awareness and Unmanned Systems. He is currently leading the Joint Innovation and Technical Battlespace at the Canadian Forces Maritime Warfare Center in Halifax.
