Jean Giroux holds a MSc in physics from Université Laval. After a time at SPAR Aerospace working optics projects on the CanadArm, he joined Bomem were he led a team to build several advanced optical systems for space and defence applications.  In 2000, he founded Telops, a world leader in precision  thermal imagery who now employs close to 100 people in Quebec City, France, USA and China.
