François Cordeau
Vice-President, Transportation and Manufacturing
François Cordeau, Vice-President of the National Research Council of Canada’s (NRC) Transportation and Manufacturing division, is responsible for oversight of the Aerospace and the Automotive and Surface Transportation Research Centres. Mr. Cordeau is also spearheading the NRC's Advanced Manufacturing program and an associated new research facility in Winnipeg. Mr. Cordeau has served as the NRC’s Vice-President, Engineering division; Vice-President, Emerging Technologies – Platforms division; and General Manager of the Information and Communications Technologies portfolio. Prior to joining the NRC, he was President of Roctest Ltd. and held various leadership positions at Mitel Corporation. Mr. Cordeau is a graduate of the University of Sherbrooke in electrical engineering and holds a master's degree in the same field from the University of Waterloo. He also has a diploma in Business Administration from the University of Sherbrooke.
