Company profile
Established in 1989, the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) assists the Minister of Industry in the coordination of space policies and programs. CSA plans, implements, directs and manages programs and projects related to scientific and industrial space R & D. It promotes the transfer and dissemination of space technology for the benefit of Canadian industry in addition to encouraging commercial exploitation of space capabilities, technology, facilities and systems. National and international partnerships allow the CSA to promote industrial development and world-class research. Approximately 90% of its employees work at its headquarters in Saint-Hubert and 10% at other facilities in Ottawa, Houston, Washington and Paris.
